Smooth Administrative Transition as Deputy CAO Hands Over Office in Kyenjojo
Kyenjojo District Local Government has officially witnessed the handover of office by the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (DCAO), Mr. Yiga Martin Paul, following his transfer to Kagadi District Local Government. The handover ceremony marked a significant administrative transition as Mr. Vincent Kyaligonza assumed the responsibilities of Deputy Chief Administrative Officer.

The ceremony, held at the district headquarters, brought together district leaders, department heads, and staff members to bid farewell to Mr. Yiga Martin Paul and welcome Mr. Vincent Kyaligonza, the incoming Deputy Chief Administrative Officer.
In his farewell remarks, Mr. Yiga Martin Paul expressed gratitude to the political and technical leadership, development partners, and staff for the cooperation and support accorded to him during his tenure in Kyenjojo District, which lasted for 1 year and 3 months.
"It has been a privilege serving the people of Kyenjojo. The achievements realized during my time here are a result of teamwork, commitment, and the collective efforts of all stakeholders. I leave with fond memories and confidence that the district will continue progressing," he said.
Mr. Yiga encouraged public servants to remain committed to professionalism, accountability, and efficient service delivery to meet the aspirations of the people in the communities they serve.

Receiving office, Mr. Vincent Kyaligonza thanked the district leadership for the warm reception and pledged to build on the foundation laid by his predecessor.
"I am honored to join Kyenjojo District Local Government and look forward to working closely with the political leadership, technical staff, and development partners to strengthen service delivery and improve the welfare of our communities," he noted.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Malik Mahabba, commended Mr. Yiga for his dedicated service and contribution to the district's development.
"Mr. Yiga has been a dependable member of the district administration whose commitment and professionalism have contributed significantly to the implementation of government programmes. We thank him for his service and wish him success in Kagadi District," the CAO said.
The CAO further urged Mr. Kyaligonza to embrace teamwork and uphold the values of integrity, accountability, and excellence in public service.
The District Chairperson, Hon Gilbert Rubaihayo, also hailed Mr. Yiga's contribution to strengthening service delivery and fostering collaboration between the political and technical wings of the district.
"Leadership transitions are part of public service, but the impact one leaves behind is what matters most. Mr. Yiga has served diligently, and we appreciate his contribution to the growth of Kyenjojo District. We welcome Mr. Kyaligonza and assure him of our full support as we continue working towards improved service delivery for our people," he remarked.
